Post’D

Hello, I don’t know who will read this because I am not the greatest typist nor do my idea flow at times, but Kevin Beers has been nagging me and nagging me to make a post. So here it is. POSTED!!!!

To be honest I’m not the biggest fan of blogs. I rarely look on the internet for blogs unless there is a nerdy thing I would like to look at in terms of video games or some new software. So if you the reader want to know who I am, well, I’m a nerd straight up. I could go on and talk about my love for video games computer programs and then turn the conversation in to how I like long walks on the beach, but other than that sounding clecaided stupid I will just leave it at that. I do have a great love in my life and that is cinema. For years I was torn as to what I should watch and not watch. Much of that was wrapped up in my misunderstanding of grace and who God is. As I mature I see cinema as a great link not only spiritually, but personally between people. Sometimes a person can see the grace of God in a short movie than reading a book in the Bible. Sometimes the dot can’t connect unless I can see an example of life, love or loss. So I love cinema because at times you can find deep meanings in movies and beautiful examples of God’s love.

Now it may sound like after that rant that I would rather watch a movie than read the Bible, but don’t get me wrong I am a follow of God not a putts. If you are serious about your love for God and you want to know how serious you are about His love for you you have to turn off the tv and dive into what is considered the greatest Book ever written. Then get your nose out of that and connect and etc. etc. etc. For the most part in this blog I will probably talk about movies and what I think of them. You may disagree with my views or not, but if you would like to discuss movies and spiritually and badly worded run on sentances then I’m your man.
